Our Technician
Our pest control technician is RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management qualified, a member of the National Pest Technicians Association, very experienced, fully insured, and registered with Basis Prompt, participating in the CPD (Continuous Professional Development) scheme.
Ian came out to deal with a wasp nest. A helpful and genuine trader, I recommend him to deal with your issues. I had a good conversation with him, and he didn't mind explaining what was going on. Thanks Ian!

We returned from holiday to find a wasp nest on our guinea pig hutch and immediately contacted PestEx. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, arriving within the hour and dealing with the issue quickly and professionally. I would absolutely recommend their service!

Came out same day within hours of me saying I had a rat issue. Very professional guy and very obviously takes a lot of pride in the work he does. I would honestly recommend him to anyone. Very thorough and very carefully disposed of the rats.
We contacted Ian over the Easter weekend as we identified an issue that we needed help with. Ian responded to our website query straight away even though it was a bank holiday, and was with us first thing on Tuesday morning to do an inspection before coming back on Wednesday to complete the treatment. Ian was very upfront about the costs, which were very reasonable, and was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended if you need pest control support.

I called Ian out as I had a pest problem which I had been trying to deal with myself without success. He came promptly and accessed the situation. The soft furnishings were steam treated also.

We discovered we had a Rat problem. Contacted Ian as he was local to us. He came round and spent a long time looking all over the house to find the ingress point. Once found, he then traced the rats progress through the house, and determined the best places to set traps. We wanted traps as wanted to find body and not have a dead rat hidden in the house. Ian was very conscious we had a dog so took all precautions to protect him. It took 5 weeks (through no fault of Ian) to decide that the traps weren't working, the rat was scared of anything new that was put down, and that's with video evidence. We ended up deciding that poison was the way to go, we were told that this would be a sure fire solution. It was, within 4 hours of poison being put down, the rat had taken it all. since then there has been no evidence of rat, and we hope with some guidance from Ian we can stop any more from coming into the house in the future.
His manner was very professional, and he knew his pests. Hopefully we will never have need of him again, but if we do, he will be our first port of call. Would definitely recommend

I called PestEx, they came out the next day and identified the problem as fieldmice in the suspended ceiling void. They advised against using poison bait traps as we have cavity walls and the decaying bodies would cause problems. They advised using traps, and this solved the problem immediately as we had two mice in the traps the following day. PestEx have suggested a follow up visit in two weeks time to check for any further occurrancies. Very thorough, very professional. Good work PestEx.
Ian came along to check on some rodent evidence and thoroughly checked our entire property. He was super professional and very friendly at the same time. Checked absolutely everywhere and even got a drone out to check for loose tiles on the roof. Absolutely what you want from a pest control expert and I couldn't recommend enough.

Called Ian on a Saturday lunchtime as I had a large aggressive wasp in my bedroom. Needed some help getting it out as I'm allergic to stings. Ian was incredibly understanding and arrived within half an hour. We then could not find the wasp but he persevered and eventually found it in the plant pot! Ian managed to remove it swiftly and safely. Excellent customer service, highly recommend and will definitely use again.

I messaged Ian late on Sunday afternoon after finding a wasp nest in the garden. He responded so quickly and I was booked in for the next day.

Contacted Ian at PestExUK on Thursday evening to advise of a cluster fly infestation in the loft, by Saturday morning he had applied the treatment to remove them all and as a bonus removed a queen wasp that had found its way into there too. Very friendly, very accommodating, very professional. We'll certainly be using Ian for any pest problems in the future.
